Workplace Policy Briefings
Convert employment consultation outcomes into communication packs managers can deliver without improvising the law.
Flagship course
Who this is for
HR business partners, internal communicators, and operational leaders in Germany who leave consultation rooms with decisions—and then face the harder job of explaining them across shifts, sites, and languages of work.
Learning outcomes
- Map audiences and decide what each group must know, do, or escalate.
- Rewrite policy passages into briefing scripts that preserve legal intent.
- Design a rollout cadence with Q&A, manager packs, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate phrasing with works-council communication needs.
- Collect feedback that improves the policy text, not only the slide deck.
Modules
Six modules with practice labs. Bring a real draft policy if your organization allows.
Consultation residue
What must remain exact after employment talks—and what can be translated into operational language.
Audience grids
Managers, specialists, works councils, and newcomers each get a different briefing depth.
Sentence surgery
Live rewrites of dense clauses into spoken briefings without losing obligations.
Rollout choreography
Announcement order, quiet periods, and when to pause for questions.
Works council interfaces
Shared vocabulary, timing notes, and avoiding accidental contradiction.
Proof of arrival
Lightweight checks that the message landed—and how to revise when it did not.
Participant notes
Module 03 forced us to cut our hybrid-work FAQ from twelve paragraphs to four spoken beats. Managers finally stopped inventing “friendly” exceptions on the floor.
Strong on manager packs. I still needed external counsel for a contested overtime clause—the course does not replace legal advice, and the facilitators say so clearly.
FAQ
Is this legal training?
No. We teach communication craft around employment policies. You remain responsible for legal review with qualified counsel.
Can we use confidential drafts?
Yes in private cohorts. Public cohorts use anonymized scenarios; do not share secret material in open sessions.
What is a real limitation?
We do not certify works-council procedures or issue legal opinions. If your situation is contentious or litigated, pause communication design until counsel sets the boundary.
Language of delivery?
Sessions run in English with German workplace examples. Optional German briefing templates are available on request.
